Having grown up in Cuyahoga Falls, the Nat has been part of my life since I was eight years old. Over the years, the facility has truly transformed into a premiere fitness center. As a former professional athlete, staying fit is important, and the Nat offers everything I need and more – such as an aquatic center, indoor track, huge basketball court, racquetball and handball courts, free weights, exercise machines, and clean locker rooms. To me, it’s the area’s only complete fitness center.
The wide range of classes offered at the Nat are also a big attraction not only for me but my entire family. My wife and kids enjoy the opportunity to take self-defense, aerobics, cycling, and other classes.
As a retired NFL player, I try to stay durable and injury-free through cross-training and yoga classes. When it comes to keeping your whole body fit, the Nat has all the machines and free weights you’ll need from just staying in shape to training at the highest level. There’s no better way to keep your heart rate up, your body fit, and your mind sharp.
Of course, for many people just getting to the workout facility is one of the biggest battles. The Nat’s location and long hours allow me to work out on my schedule. Sometimes I’ll go twice a day.
But, what really what makes the Nat special is the people. Everybody from the staff to the guests is so friendly and accommodating. The morning “hello” from Joe makes me feel like I belong. One of the things I enjoy most about the Nat is seeing people you know from our community. It makes working out even more rewarding!
