The Lower Fitness Area provides 5,400 square feet of rubberized athletic flooring and state-of-the-art weight lifting equipment. This area touts over 40 pieces of Life Fitness Selectorized machines that allow for versatile workouts that target all muscle groups while allowing quick changeover of machines and weights to maximize your workout experience. To enhance mass and strength, our free weight area contains over 30 pieces of weight and plate-loaded Hammer Strength equipment, squat machines, barbell sets, benches and numerous pieces designed for the advanced lifter.  Come check out our 12 person multi-purpose jungle gym unit; it's one of a kind!  The Natatorium invests each year in new equipment to remain cutting edge and stand out against our competitors.

Group Fitness Rooms A&B

Join in on a fitness class in one of our group fitness class rooms, located just past the interactive tree area. Holding 20-30 people in Group Fit Room B, the sports parquet flooring will host a variety of classes including Bosu, Zumba, Strength, Bootcamp & Yoga. Fit Kid classes are held in these rooms during the week, as well as other special programming.  Group Fit Room A hosts our Spinning classes!  Check out the land fitness schedule for more details on the classes provided.

Auxiliary Gymnasium

The Auxiliary Gymnasium is 4,200 square feet and can be used for a wide range of activities, including indoor soccer, volleyball, karate, and sports conditioning.  We offer over 30 group fitness classes that are held in this gym each week.  The Auxiliary Gym is open throughout the day for members to practice skills, agility, and strength goals.

 Main Gymnasium

The Main Gymnasium can be used for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, fitness programs and community events, sports clinics and camps, and a host of other activities.

Its 10,000 square foot maple floor is large enough for two full basketball courts and six half courts.  The Gymnasium will provide full court play and shoot around open gym.

Pickleball

Interested in playing pickleball?  Join the fun Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays,Thursdays, & Friday mornings 7:30am-12:00pm in the gymnasium. Evenings hours on Thursday from 6:00p-9p and Sunday's 4:00-7pm. Age 14+

**Pickelball play times may be reduced due to programming, holidays, and/or other days that schools are not in session.

 

What is pickleball? Pickleball is cross between badminton, tennis, and pingpong. It's traditionally played on a badminton-sized court with special Pickleball paddles. The ball used is similar to a wiffle ball, but slightly smaller. The lower net and wiffle ball allow the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Racquetball Courts

The two Racquetball Courts are 800 square feet with glass back walls and provide space for activities including handball, racquetball, and wallyball.  Annual members may reserve a racquetball court up to three days in advance. Please call the front desk at 330-971-8080 to book or stop by the podium to reserve your court. One court reservation per call, per member. Courts can be reserved for up to 1 hour on the hour. Racquetball goggles/glasses are strongly recommended.

LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR

FEES: $250.00 -PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Course Purpose
The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross Lifeguarding course.
Course Prerequisites
• Be at least 17 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the course.
• Possess a current basic-level certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Successfully complete the online Introduction to the Lifeguarding Instructor Course prior to the precourse skills session via the class roster and online content completion status report.
• Obtain all instructor and participant materials before entering the first session of the instructor course.

A re-certification course without having to take the full content course.  

Current lifeguards who will expire or have expired in the past 30 days and wish to maintain their certifications and skills. If you are more than 30 days past your expiration date you will not be permitted to participate in this course without written consent from the American Red Cross.

Guests must reserve a designated party room for their event at least 3 weeks in advance.  Guests are not permitted to use lobbies and/or tree house areas to host an event/party, regardless of entry fees paid. 

Payment is required up front and in full to secure the reservation.

Everyone attending the party is considered a guest of the splash party including siblings, grandparents, child's parents, etc to be considered in the headcount. For the safety of our patrons, a valid government issued photo I.D. (driver's license, state issued I.D., military I.D., passport or CFone Card) must be presented by each person over the age of 16.

Water Safety Requirements

-- Bathing suits are the only acceptable swimming attire.

-- One adult in a swimsuit, in the water, must be present for every 5 children under the age of 9.

-- Kids 7 and 8 must have an adult present in a swimsuit.

-- Kids 5 and 6 must have adult in the water at all times.

-- Kids 4 and under must be within arm’s reach of an adult in a swimsuit at all times.

-- Swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet trained.

-- You must be 48” tall to use the big slide.

-- No food or drinks are permitted in the Aquatic Center.

-- Open swim times may vary. Please check pool times for further details.

Adult Karate - students under the age of 12 may test into the adult program, see instructor.  Uniforms may be purchased. Testing rank certifications are not required, but are available. Belt testing is quarterly and has an additional cost. It takes approximatley 3-3.5 years to earn a 1st degree Black Belt.

Character building, self confidence, coordination, fitness and fun! Classes meet every Saturday from 11:45am-12:45pm for ages 6-11.  $45 for Residents; $65 for Non Residents for one 8 week session.  The program is ongoing. This excludes certification dues. Classes are located in the Aux Gym.  Please click here for May / June flyer.
